We are happy to announce that the assets of Oral Pathology Associates (OPA) have been acquired by Texas A&M University School of Dentistry (TAMUSOD) as of June 20, 2023. This is particularly good news for the residency program at the TAMUSOD, as it provides them with a resource of information that is vital to the training of new oral pathologists.
 
It has been a great honor and pleasure working with you to provide the high-standard oral pathology service to your patients. We appreciate the overwhelming positive feedback regarding the changes we made to improve service quality since OPA relocated outside the school last September. Those included a free return package service with tracking, fast turnaround time once the specimen reached our office, and direct cell phone communication for pathology consultation when you need it. In addition, OPA also maintained our educational commitment and support to the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Residency Program at the TAMUSOD despite the change of location and personnel.
 
We will transfer your current biopsy specimens received by Oral Pathology Associates to Texas A&M Health Oral Pathology Service. If you sent the specimen recently and have not received the report, please contact them at: 214-828-8111 or email them at oralpath@tamu.edu.
 
I want to thank you again for the great collaboration experience and friendship we built together. It has been the most rewarding experience in my career working with you over the past 20 years. I will remain in the field of Oral Pathology. We would also like to thank TAMU for their professionalism, especially Dr. Katherine Banks, President of Texas A&M University, during this process.
